The 3-day CLASSIC itinerary will make you not only get the essential parts of Harbin city, but also fully enjoy the fun and charm of Harbin International Ice & Snow Festival, with kinds of winter activities you can only experience here.

Day 1 Harbin Arrival

Ni Hao! Welcome to Harbin, the Capital of Heilongjiang Province, which is well known as the "Ice City" in China. Your local guide will meet you at the arrival hall of airport / railway station. Then you will be escorted to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of today is on your own to explore this city.

Day 2 Harbin

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. You’ll have a relaxing city tour in Harbin. You will firstly visit St. Sophia Church, the landmark of Harbin. Built in 1907, this church is the largest Orthodox Church in Far East in Byzantine style. Now, it is used as “Harbin Architectural Art Gallery”. Looking from outside, you can appreciate the splendid structure with red bricks and circular domes. Getting into the church, you can learn history, culture and future development of Harbin. Close to the church, you’ll then visit the exotic Zhongyang Pedestrian Street which is a long corridor of European architectures with 71 buildings in different styles with long history standing by.

Next, visit the  Snow Sculptural Art Expo. at SunIsland Scenic Resort which is a major venue of Ice and Snow Festival located north Harbin right by the Songhua River. It is a popular recreational zone with a Russian-style town, some small lakes, several exquisite gardens as well as various interesting galleries and museums. When winter comes, held Snow festival  in this place, While in hot seasons, it is a perfect summer resort.

Then, visit the nearby Siberian Tiger Park, the largest breeding center in the world for endangered Siberian Tigers. You’ll not only pay a safe walk to observe different kinds of tigers (Siberian Tigers, White Tigers, Snow Tiger, Liger, Jaguar), but also take a bus with wire-mesh protection through the park to closely see the tigers and take some photos.

After dinner, you will head to the amazing Ice and Snow World, the highlights of Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, to appreciate the magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures with colorful lights at night. Please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away from the freeze especially when you want to stay here longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Notes: 1) The open time of Ice and Snow Festival is not fixed, but it usually lasts about 2 months from late December to early March. The Ice and Snow world is only open during the festival. 2) An indoor Ice and Snow Paradise with smaller scale is built in the scenic area of the Ice and Snow World, and tourists could also enjoy the ice and snow there as well when the festival ends.

Day 3 Harbin & Harbin Departure

Today, you’ll pay a visit to Stalin Park, located aside of Songhua River. Feel the charm of Russian architectures and enjoy many creative artistic sculptures. After that, you can watch winter swimming performances, and can also take part in the local ice activities, like ice sloping, ice boating, etc.

After the tour, I and driver will escort you to the airport or train station for your flight / train to next destination. Service ends!
